Browse surface options, applications and technical documents for six plywood series.

Sapphire plywood
Sapphire plywood: Wire and Hexa surfaces considered for vehicle and platform floors. Compare coating, abrasion and dimensions using its own brochure.

Flexply
Flexply plywood: film-faced options for curved formwork and uncoated options for decorative work. Review each variant within its own application scope.

Plyform
For Plyform plywood, specify dimensions, surface and application. A separate series brochure is not published; request technical documentation from sales.

Vulcan plywood
Vulcan plywood: fire performance evaluated within the stated application and test conditions. Review classifications and dimensions with the product brochure.

Anthracite plywood
Anthracite plywood: embossed surfaces for floors and smooth surfaces for interior lining. Review application scope and sheet sizes in the series document.

Film faced plywood
Film-faced plywood: phenolic overlays with smooth, Wire and Hexa surfaces. Review dimensions and technical documents for construction and transport uses.

About the product
Plywood is a panel formed by bonding thin wood veneers in layers. Film-faced plywood is one of the groups selected for concrete formwork and transport applications according to the required surface. Smooth film, Wire and Hexa textures do not imply the same use or performance. Kariwood presents each series with its own technical sources for review and comparison.

Choosing plywood
A concrete form, a vehicle floor and a furniture component ask different things of a sheet. Define the application before selecting its surface and series.
Add to requestFilm-faced plywood and uncoated panels
Film-faced plywood has a surface overlay; uncoated plywood may be selected for painting, veneering or machining. Read the phenolic-film specification alongside thickness and core construction. The general word “plywood” does not define wood species, film weight or reuse count. For an uncoated surface, also review the birch plywood page.

Formwork plywood selection considers concrete finish, panel thickness, support spacing and site conditions together. A smooth film face and a textured vehicle-floor overlay address different requirements. Formwork load calculations remain part of project design. Reuse counts or service-life figures should not be assumed without product documentation and the relevant application conditions.

For truck, trailer or transport-platform floors, review abrasion, loads and fixing details as well as texture. Wire and Hexa options must be read with the relevant series document. Sapphire, Anthracite, Flexply, Vulcan, film-faced plywood and Plyform have separate records; test results are not transferred between them. Compare two or three products under common headings.

A plywood quotation needs the series, surface, thickness, sheet size and sheet count or square metres. If you need 18 mm plywood, add the dimensions and application: thickness alone is not a full specification. Include the delivery location and approximate volume. Technical tables describe brochure scope; stock and prices are confirmed during quotation.
