## A structural line in timber

Glulam beams are made by bonding timber lamellas with their grain running in parallel. They are used as linear structural members such as posts and beams.

Unlike solid sawn timber, glulam consists of several bonded lamellas. CLT is a panel with cross-oriented layers and is a different product.
